Though the need may seem ephemeral when compared to hard academics, the arts are essential in providing an appropriate out for creativity and individuality. The arts themselves allow for an expansion of the mind that other academic subjects simply can not provide for. Like most education positions, an increase of almost twenty percent of those in art education jobs is expected ten years from now. Such studies and facts establish the notion that careers in education are certainly on the rise, regardless of which discipline one decides to concentrate in.
